What Wendy Watched: To San Francisco with Summer Glau

The Big Bang Theory was a delight again last night. The highlight was the boys' train ride to San Francisco in the same carriage as Summer Glau (playing herself). Now I have to admit I haven't watched either Firefly or The Sarah Connor Chronicles but that didn't matter. I laughed out loud. (something which doesn't actually happen very often when I'm watching TV).

Enjoy. If you have to watch a traditional sitcom this might be the one.

Simultaneously and in synchronisity MrsDrWho and I had decided this was a Must Buy series. Channel WIN has played so fast and loose with the show I haven't seen every episode and it is Very Funny!! I loves last night's episode!! Chuck Lorre makes THIS and 2 1/2 Men???? You would like Firefly, it is Most Amusing, it deserved another season, a movie is just not enough.

yes it's definitely hard to believe they are made by the same person. because two and half men is so pathetic. I will have to try Firefly. I remember hearing good things about it.

Firefly is great but I don't get why there is so much bother about Summer Glau. Her roles in both Firefly and Terminator are to be deadpan, underspoken and skanky. Sure she occasionally throws a car and beats up a room of bad guys but, well, anyone with a green screen, choreographer and harness can do that. The other characters in Firefly were just as hot. Having said that, I thought her character was interesting in Terminator. Oh and I liked the clip, made me chuckle in a few places. Poor Summer.
