I didn't know you played the violin

Random people on a number of occasions in the last few days: "I didn't know you played the violin" Me on the same occasions: "yes I do" Clearly, I've been hiding that light under a bushel for the last few years.

It's not as if it's a crime?? Whenever I see 'bushel' now, I start singing Bushel and a Peck from Guys and Dolls- in my mind!!

yes now I think about it, it could be taken as a little accusatory! like I was deliberately hiding something from them
Guys and Dolls has some great songs!
